A free short story…the perfect treat for yourself this Christmas
It’s the age-old saying. You wait all day for a bus, and then three come along at once. But proposals? That’s just ridiculous. And yet, on New Year’s Eve, as the countdown finishes and the whole pub erupts in celebrations, Cerys finds herself staring at her ex-fiancĂ©, Ricky. Who just so happens to be kneeling on the floor, ring in hand, asking her to marry him. Again.
And if that weren’t enough, hot barman Angelo, and longtime friend Huw also decide to pop the question. At the exact same time.
Three men, two real contenders, but just one choice. What on earth will she do?

Honestly when I first got this book I really thought it was similar to Three Men and a baby, not maybe (honest mistake right?) but when I started reading it, I obviously found out that it has nothing to do with a baby more like one girl and three proposals. This should be a lesson for me to learn for next time reading the synopsis carefully.

Cerys is not looking forward to new year, but she is dragged along to a bar with her friends anyways. Unknown to her, she finds herself with three guys asking for her hand but the question remains who will she choose? Her ex fiancé, one of her best friends or Angelo the barman?

This takes place in three different points of her life; it tells of her life when she was engaged to Ricky and how because of his actions it destroyed their relationship, Huw who has always been her best friend and protector (she secretly had a crush on him when they were younger) and how she meets Angelo. In the end, I was surprised with her choice but I can say she made the right one (one that ends with a maybe). Like Cerys every girl deserves to be with someone who treats them right and like a queen.

A great, short read.
